I can help. My goal as a psychologist is to help you feel better by applying empirically-supported therapeutic methods in a warm, affirming environment. Just as each person's needs, experiences, and strengths are unique, I tailor my approach to each individual to help uncover past and present factors that impact functioning.


 

Group Therapy

Social Anxiety Group
This group is ideal for those who experience self-consciousness around others, fear of being the center of attention, or avoidance behavior as a reaction to anxious thoughts. This 12-week group is an active, structured program, that features client-paced behavioral activities that are used to help members develop a more adaptive relationship with their anxiety, and move up their anxiety hierarchy. At the completion of this group, members will better understand themselves and their inter-personal patterns, and will have developed ways to improve the quality of their relationships. Group members participate in behavioral activities when they decide they are ready, and will not be called on to answer questions, or made the center of attention.
