Welcome. I'm Dr. Elizabeth Johnson. I am a licensed psychologist (PSY30097; PSY025206) in private practice, offering therapy, assessment, and consultation services to individuals and organizations in California and New York. To each of these roles I bring an extensive educational background in psychology, years of clinical experience, and genuine curiosity about people.
The foci of my doctoral and masters research include career satisfaction for traditionally marginalized populations, the validity of psychological assessments for adults identifying as Native/American Indian, the applicability of marriage satisfaction assessments for couples identifying as LGBTQ, and types of anti-racism education for White college students. I completed my clinical internship at Stanford University, with specialty rotations in Substance Use, Eating Disorders, and Gender and Sexual Identity.
